The year 1351 starts poorly as we are raided by the Rakshanti clan. This upsets our people as they are part of the Estarelder tribe that we are supposed to be allied with. Instead of sanctioning their clan or their tribe as a whole however, we ask the Estarelder to join us in a massive raid against the Balmyr tribe as whole, hoping that our weaponthanes would like each other more after fighting together and convincing them that there are plenty of other enemies to fight. They agree and we set the date for the raid for the Fire season of next year.

Our exploring teams are also wandering farther away each season, so they are gone for longer and longer periods of time. We are forced to recruit more weaponthanes to defend our tula while they are away. During one such trip we find a magical bagpipe that will help us if we are ever attacked by trollkin. An another trip, we reach the wastelands of Prax and encounter a nomadic people who ride giant, flightless birds instead of horses. They offer their services as mercenary raiders to us. We pay them but defer the favour for some time in the future.

The next year, the giant tribe versus tribe raid goes off as planned and it is a splendid battle, at least for those in our tribe. We massively outnumber the Balmyr tribe so it is an easy victory but there is still enough loot to go around. Since this is a tribe versus tribe raid, it does not violate the treaty between us and the Eagle clan and they continue paying us tribute. But the Balmyr tribe as a whole must be extremely angry with us.

Due to all these events, our clan becomes widely respected and feared in Dragon Pass. One clan, the Woodpecker clan, even approaches us to ask for an alliance. We also play host to a new group of immigrants to Dragon Pass who have recently left Heortland. They asked for some of our lands to settle in, arguing that we have plenty of untamed wildlands. But we prefer to keep our lands in case we need them in the future and so we gave them generous gifts and sent them on their way. We later learned that they found land to settle in deeper in Dragon Pass and were grateful of our hospitality when they passed through our lands.

Of course, we continue performing heroquests whenever possible. One of these is Chalana Arroy Heals the Scars, for which we ask the blessing that all future healing in the clan becomes much easier. We would like to perform the Humakt the Champion heroquest but we have no Humakt worshippers on our clan ring so the chances of success will be low. Later, one of the more amusing events we undergo is the spirits of our ancestors visiting us to complain about one of the advisers on our clan ring, Rangor. They admit that he gives good advice when he knows what he is talking about, but he also sometimes says homilies and proverbs that mean nothing and confuses them. We offer them copious sacrifices to make them go away and bother the living no more.

The next few years pass with the usual events. We manage to perform six heroquests since the forming of the tribe. The Eagle clan once again becomes remiss in their tribute payments and become valid targets for raids. Eventually the Fire Quartz clan declares a blood feud against us for our raids and the raids of our tribe as a whole. One of the more interesting events is when an orphan we had earlier taken on grows up. His family has been killed by the Praxians from the far east. He is so intent on vengeance that we send him with some other warriors on a raid that travels much farther than the usual ones. Fortunately they are successful and return not only with loot but with valuable battle experience.

In 1356, an event of note occurs. We receive a visit from a young woman who calls herself Saraska Bright-Eyes. She claims that she will unify the tribes of Dragon Pass into a single kingdom. We performed a divination ritual to determine if the gods are on her side but the omens are unfavourable. We therefore choose to be polite but sceptical and send her on her way without making any promises. She promised that she would return once she had secured the support of some of the other clans.
